We build websites without bloated site builders or piles of plugins, usually with SvelteKit and with Next.js where it fits better. The result loads fast, is technically set up for search engines and is still easy to maintain: if you want, you edit text, images and news yourself through a CMS. We work in English and German and can build your site in both languages.

Frequently asked questions
Why do you build websites with SvelteKit?
SvelteKit is one of the fastest web frameworks around: pages are pre-rendered on the server, and the browser only receives as much JavaScript as it needs. That means short load times and strong Core Web Vitals, which benefits both visitors and search engines. It also comes with a large ecosystem around Vite, npm and TypeScript. When a project calls for it, for example because React components already exist, we use Next.js.
How long until my new website is live?
That depends on the scope and on how quickly text and images are ready. A landing page is much faster to build than a site with many subpages, several languages or connections to other systems. Content is often what sets the pace, so we tell you early which text and images we need and when.
What determines the cost of a website?
The number of pages, the design effort, features such as a CMS, multiple languages or forms, and any connections to other systems. Hosting and the domain add ongoing costs. After the free initial consultation, you get a proposal with a fixed price for the agreed scope that breaks these items down clearly.
Can I edit the content myself?
Yes, if you want to. We connect a CMS that lets you edit text, images and news without technical knowledge. If you’d rather not deal with it, we make the changes for you.
Is the website GDPR-compliant and accessible?
We set up your site with privacy in mind: hosting in German data centers, no unnecessary trackers, third-party content only after consent. Accessibility is part of the build from the start. Since June 28, 2025, Germany’s Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), which implements the European Accessibility Act, applies to online stores and other digital services aimed at consumers. We’re happy to discuss in the initial consultation whether it affects your site.
Who owns the website, and where is it hosted?
You receive the source code and the necessary usage rights; the details are set out in the contract. We host on servers in German data centers and take care of updates and certificates. If you later want to host it yourself or switch providers, we hand over everything you need.
Do you work with international clients?
Yes. We work in English, and websites are easy to coordinate over video calls and email, so distance isn’t an obstacle; for the important meetings, we travel to you. We also build multilingual sites, for example in English and German. If you’re in the Ruhr area or Düsseldorf, we’re glad to come by in person for every meeting.
